MOSCOW, May 9 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived at the Red Square in Moscow on Friday to attend a World War II Victory Day parade hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

More than 20 foreign dignitaries, including China’s Xi Jinping and Slovakia’s Robert Fico, are scheduled to attend the annual parade this year.

Officials promise that commemorations this year — the 80th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany — will be the “biggest” ever.

President Sisi arrived in the Russian capital on Thursday at an invitation from Putin to attend the commemorations.
