MENA has varied news services which are transmitted simultaneously 24/7.

 


 

These services are:

Local Arabic News Service:

A service transmitted to subscribers in Egypt, focusing on various political, social, cultural, economic and sports activities...etc. with a comprehensive on-spot coverage of important Arab, international and Mideast developments.


English & French Services:

Both presenting a selection of the most important news items carried by the Arabic service. They are directed to English and French speaking subscribers at home and abroad.


Special International Service: 

A service which concentrates on Arab and Middle East political news. It offers accurate selection of special news for various sources.


Economic Service:

A specialized daily service covering key economic events and developments on the local, regional and international scenes. It also covers news connected with the stock exchange, banks, currency exchange, trade, industry, ICT, investments, energy, international cooperation, etc.


SMS Service:

A distinguished service under which breaking news are sent to subscribers as they happen on their cell phones.

 

MENA Social Media Service: 

A new service introduced by MENA to interact directly with the audience. It publishes a selection of MENA news items and offers live coverage of some national events through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

 

Photo service:

Special News Bulletin with Photos

MENA provides its subscribers with a special bulletin featuring photos and most of the important news items published in its general news service covering local events, the Arab world, world news, economic, political, cultural, sports and scientific activities.. etc.


Photo features:

MENA prepares a variety of photo features covering all aspects of life inside and outside Egypt in sports, cultural, artistic, scientific, historical ....etc. MENA also provides Egyptian and foreign press establishments with photos of important events in Egypt. MENA has a unique archive whose collection includes historical photographs and audio and video recordings compiled since its establishment.

 

Video Service:

MENA offers special video coverage and documentaries that can be followed by viewers through its main official page on the web: www.mena.or.eg and also through its channel on YouTube.

 

MENA Middle East Research and Studies Center:

It is a MENA independent center established in the ‘90s of the 20th century given the important impact of regional events on the whole world, with the aim of providing in-depth studies, analyses and reports to the public and academic and specialized bodies on the latest local, regional and international conditions.

The center publishes reports and research periodicals prepared by a team of expert reporters and specialists. It also organizes seminars and conferences covering various political, economic and strategic domains.

 

 

 

MENA issues a distinguished collection of printed daily, bi-weekly and weekly bulletins, each of which covers a special field.

They are:

Cairo Press Review (CPR):

Issued daily in English. It provides to non-Arabic speaking readers a review of important news and commentaries carried by Cairo morning newspapers. This bulletin is distributed to embassies, press offices and foreign organizations in Cairo for subscription fees.


Party Press Review (PPR):

A bi-weekly issued in English offering a comprehensive round-up of main news and issues published by partisan newspapers.


MEN:

A weekly issued in English, offering a comprehensive review of important economic news to those interested in the field.

 

Rvue de Presse du Caire (RPC):

Issued daily in French. It provides to non-Arabic speaking readers a review of important news and commentaries carried by Cairo morning newspapers. This bulletin is distributed to embassies, press offices and foreign organizations in Cairo for subscription fees.



MENA depends on a wide network of correspondents as it has offices in many world capitals.
