CAIRO, March 9 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday honored Dr Mahmoud Samy, who lost his eyesight while working in a coronavirus quarantine hospital.

In a wonderful humanitarian gesture, Sisi accompanied Dr Samy and held his baby while honoring him.

This came during the 33rd educational seminar organized by the Armed Forces on the occasion of the Martyr's Day.

The seminar is held at Al Manara International Conference Center in New Cairo under the theme "If It Were Not For Them, We Would Not Be Here". (MENA)
