CAIRO, Sept 15 (MENA) - Takaful and Karama social solidarity program started on Thursday disbursing the monthly cash of September after adding one million families for the total number of beneficiaries to reach 5.1 million families in line with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

The cash is also available for holders of Meeza and smart cards nationwide.

The Social Solidarity Ministry started distributing Meeza cards for the newly-added beneficiaries to the program.

The total financing of the program hit EGP 25 billion against EGP 19 billion last year and EGP 22 billion in April.

This underlines Egypt's keenness to invest in humans in line with a future vision to curb education dropouts, improve health services and confront early marriage which hamper the march of development. (MENA)
