CAIRO, July 5 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued Decree No. 31 of 2025 approving an agreement on preparing a roadmap for reducing methane emissions in Egypt.

A 959,006-dollar grant will be provided under the agreement between the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation and the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA).

The Egyptian House of representatives approved the draft decree on April 15, 2025.

The decree was published in the official gazette out Saturday. (MENA)
