CAIRO, June 23 (MENA) – Egypt on Monday strongly condemned Iranian attacks on Qatar, calling them a violation of Qatari sovereignty and a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

In a statement issued by the foreign ministry, Egypt expressed its full solidarity with Qatar and affirmed its support for the Gulf state amid rising regional tensions.

Egypt voiced deep concern over what it described as a dangerous and rapidly escalating situation in the region, rejecting all forms of military escalation and infringements on state sovereignty. It called for an immediate de-escalation and a ceasefire to safeguard regional peace and security.

Egypt also stressed the importance of coordinated regional and international efforts to contain the growing tensions, warning that the situation risks spiraling out of control. It renewed its call for restraint and urged all parties to prioritize dialogue and diplomatic solutions to preserve regional stability.
