CAIRO, June 16 (MENA) - The Ministry of Transport, represented by the Arab Bridge Maritime Company, jointly owned by Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq, confirmed the continued provision of its maritime services to passengers via its operating fleet on the international maritime route (Aqaba/Nuweiba) normally and safely.

The company noted that over 10,000 passengers were transported through the (Nuweiba/Aqaba) route or the tourist route (Aqaba/Taba) during the past three days.

In a statement Monday, the company emphasized the full regularity of its scheduled daily sea voyages according to organized timetables.

Several additional trips have been operated in recent days to accommodate the increasing demand for the company’s services and maritime travel amid the "current sensitive regional circumstances", particularly with the cancellation or postponement of many flights in several countries in the region, it said.

The company stressed its commitment to the highest standards of maritime safety, in addition to ensuring the continuous, safe and reliable delivery of its services. (MENA)
