CAIRO, Feb 19 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said a general framework for a reconstruction plan of the Gaza Strip is under development with the participation of several Egyptian universities and a group of consultancy firms.

Addressing reporters during a news briefing following the Cabinet's weekly meeting on Wednesday, Madbouli added three years is a reasonable time-frame for rebuilding the war-torn coastal enclave and making it even better than it used to be before the onset of Israel's 15-month war.

"This estimation is based on the facts on the ground," the prime minister noted, highlighting Egypt's technical and engineering capabilities as well as the country's extensive experience in reconstruction, thanking to the large number of development projects implemented in Egypt over the past few years.
