CAIRO, May 10 (MENA) – Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty praised Egypt’s leading efforts in supporting women's rights and empowerment, in line with the directives of President Abdel Fattah el Sisi.
During his meeting with Amal Ammar, the president of the National Council for Women (NCW), the minister commended the council’s national and international contributions, including its active role in Egypt’s Universal Periodic Review session at the UN Human Rights Council.
The talks also discussed the implementation of Egypt’s 2030 National Strategy for Women’s Empowerment and the National Human Rights Strategy, which includes a dedicated pillar for women’s rights. (MENA)
