CAIRO, Nov 11 (MENA) – Cairo has moved up five spots to 59 in the 2021 Global Cities Index (GCI), the Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) revealed on Thursday.

In an inforgraphic, the IDSC noted that Cairo was ranked 64th in the same index last year.

In the 2021 edition, Cairo came third among 20 Arab cities included in the ranking, and second among 14 African cities.

The Global Cities Index (GCI) measures how globally engaged cities are across five dimensions: business activity, human capital, information exchange, cultural experience, and political engagement. (MENA)
