CAIRO, June 25 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi appointed early Wednesday Counselor Mohamed el Shennawy as head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority.

El Shennawy graduated from the Faculty of Law at Cairo University in 1978 and began his career in the Administrative Prosecution Authority in 1979.

He held multiple positions across judicial departments, including the Central Departments for Judicial Inspection and Disciplinary Prosecution.

He held positions in administrative and disciplinary prosecution, judicial inspection, and the authority’s technical offices.

El Shennawy was seconded as Assistant to the Public Prosecutor in 1996 and continued in that role for several years.

He also led several local prosecution offices, including Helwan and 15 May, and headed technical offices in Ismailia and Cairo before serving as Director of the Judicial Inspection Department. (MENA)
