CAIRO, June 5 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received a phone call from King Abdullah II of Jordan on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Egyptian presidency said on Thursday.

King Abdullah extended his best wishes to the Egyptian leadership and people, expressing hope for Egypt’s continued progress and prosperity. President Sisi, in turn, offered his felicitations to the Jordanian monarch and people, wishing Jordan lasting stability and development.

Presidency spokesperson Mohamed El-Shennawy said the call also included an exchange of views on several regional issues of mutual concern.

The two leaders emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination between Egypt and Jordan to address current challenges and promote regional stability, he added.
