CAIRO, May 19 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli underscored the importance of maintaining efforts to address financial issues and resolve any disputes between the different ministries and government bodies.

The aim is to improve and boost financial efficiency and show positive impacts on various sectors of national economy, said Madbouli at a meeting, which was held to resolve any financial affairs that have long burdened the public finances.

The discussion reviewed efforts to settle the financial disputes between the National Investment Bank (NIB) and a number of government bodies.

Several ministers and senior state officials attended the meeting on Monday.

The meeting also discussed integrated measures to achieve more economic reforms in the country, said Spokesman for the Cabinet Mohamed el Homsany.

Discussions probed the progress of measures to resolve financial entanglements between the National Investment Bank (NIB) and Egypt Post.

This is part of the government’s efforts to address financial entanglements between various government entities and to enhance the role of the NIB as a key economic and investment arm of the state, vital for supporting development efforts. (MENA)
