CAIRO, May 13 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli Tuesday convened a meeting to follow up on underway logistic arrangements for the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM).
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty, Assistant Foreign Minister for Cultural Relations Yasser Shaaban and United Media Services Company (UMS) Chairman Tarek Nour.
The meeting falls within the framework of the ongoing follow up on logistic arrangements and preparations for the opening ceremony of the museum, in line with directives of the political leadership to closely monitor all preparations for receiving official delegations and guests who will attend the official opening ceremony of the world gem.
The meeting tackled the logistic procedures of the celebration including sending invitations to monarchs, presidents and dignitaries along with reviewing the agenda of the three-day event, according to Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed el Homosany.
The meeting took up arrival and departure procedures at airports, accommodation and transportation to the venue of the event, the spokesman said, adding that lists of high-level guests were also reviewed. (MENA)
