CAIRO, April 14 (MENA) - Egypt and South Korea celebrated on Monday the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between them.
In a statement, the Foreign and Emigration Ministry said that relations between the two countries have witnessed remarkable development, praising their fruitful cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and educational domains over the past three decades.
The ministry stressed the importance of this occasion as it reflects the strength of the historical ties between the Egyptian and Korean peoples, and their common political will to consolidate bilateral cooperation, promote mutual interests, and boost efforts to achieve development, peace and stability.
It added that Egypt looks forward to continuing joint cooperation with South Korea, in a way that benefits the two countries and their peoples. (MENA)
