CAIRO, Feb 12 (MENA) - Secretary-General of the Arab Lawyers Union (ALU) Mekkawi Benaissa announced that the International Criminal Court (ICC) accepted the lawsuit filed by the union against the Israeli occupation.

The ALU's General Secretariat of the Union, in coordination with the Palestinian Bar Association (PBA), managed to report all the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation, he said during the opening session of the "For Palestine" conference.

A file will be lodged to the International Criminal Court to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its heinous crimes against the Palestinian people, he added.

The conference is organized by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) at its headquarters in Ramallah city on Monday. (MENA)
