CAIRO, July 15 (MENA) -The Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA) announced Tuesday that Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli issued a decision to renew the appointment of Amr El-Hag as EAEA president, to continue his distinguished scientific and administrative leadership of the organization.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the Authority said that this decision reflects renewed confidence in Dr. El-Hag’s leadership, in recognition of his outstanding efforts in developing the research infrastructure, enhancing training programs for young professionals, and activating cooperation programs with several international bodies, foremost among them the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), in support of Egypt's sustainable development goals.

El-Hag has held the position of EAEA President since 2021 and will continue through 2025. (MENA)
