CAIRO, July 7 (MENA) - Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el-Wazir and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan el-Khatib held an extensive meeting Monday with automotive manufacturers operating in the Egyptian market to review new amendments introduced to the national program for the development of the automotive industry.

the deputy prime minister said the new amendments aim to provide real incentives for car manufacturers and ensure the program’s sustainability.

Wazir stressed the importance of deepening local automotive manufacturing to boost production and ensure optimal use of industrial capacities and available resources.

He asserted the readiness of the ministries of industry, investment and foreign Trade and finance to provide full support for car manufacturers to advance this vital industry and achieve mutual benefit for both the companies and the State. (MENA)
