MINSK, July 6 (MENA) - Belarus is launching a joint pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Cuba, according to President Aleksander Lukashenko following talks with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
The Belarusian leader confirmed that a production line will soon be opened to manufacture Belarusian medicines. These will be sold both within Cuba and across the Caribbean region, according to TV BRICS.
In addition to pharmaceuticals, Belarus and Cuba are developing several joint ventures in the dairy sector. These projects will utilize Belarusian technologies and raw materials. President Lukashenko expressed his hope that these dairy products will become accessible to both the Cuban population and neighboring countries.
Lukashenko emphasized that the planned initiatives aim to strengthen food security and improve the quality of life for citizens of both nations. (MENA)
