CAIRO, June 4 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly affirmed the state's readiness to face any emergency crises and minimize their consequences.
He referred to the recent weather-related incidents which affected Alexandria governorate.
Acting upon directives from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, an emergency task force was formed in each governorate and practical training exercises were conducted for emergencies, said the premier.
He added that Alexandria governorate had been trained multiple times to address crises and emergencies.
Madbouly's remarks came at a press conference following the cabinet's weekly meeting Wednesday.
He pointed out that the prompt response by all state bodies in Alexandria to handle the sudden crisis and its repercussions helped to minimize the damage which the storm has caused and mitigate its impact on citizens. (MENA)
