CAIRO, May 29 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli underlined on Thursday the importance of stepping up efforts exerted by the Cabinet's Unified Government Complaints System to monitor, receive and deal with citizens’ complaints, especially those of humanitarian dimension.
He called of diversifying channels of receiving complaints in a bid to ensure swift response.
Madbouli made his remarks while reviewing a report prepared by the Unified Government Complaints System on the government's efforts to deal with citizens' complaints in cooperation with different bodies concerned.
Director of the Unified Government Complaints System Tarek el Refai said the quick and effective response of the mechanism to citizens' complaints comes as part of the political leadership's directives to secure a decent life to citizens.
He expressed thanks to the ministries of education and health for their swift response to citizens' complaints.
Established by Presidential Decree No. 314 of 2017, it provides a two-way communication channel between the government and its citizens. The system aims to improve service delivery, address citizen concerns, and foster a more responsive government. (MENA)
