EL ARISH, Egypt, May 1 (MENA) - The leaders of Arab tribes and clans in Egypt stressed their full support to the political leadership to deal with any challenges and threats facing the homeland.

Speaking to MENA on the margins of the the first Arab Tribal Union Conference, hosted in Sisi City in North Sinai on Wednesday, they said all Arab tribes and clans stand in full support of any decisions made by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.

They expressed their confidence in President Sisi's wise leadership and ability to protect and defend the homeland and go forward with the State's journey on the path toward development.

Meanwhile, Mayor Ahmed Haboun, from the Siwa Oasis, said the union had been established to back the Egyptian State and its leadership represented by President Sisi who spared no effort to lay the foundation for national security and stability, and promote development all across the State.

Haboun said the conference conveys a clear message about the national projects the Sinai Peninsula is witnessing in various sectors.

The founding conference of the Union of Arab Tribes today was attended by a host of prominent figures from various fields, including politicians, media, athletes, and community symbols, as well as Arab tribal leaders. (MENA)
