KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 (MENA) - Malaysia’s Ministry of Health has equipped 156 public health clinics with a cloud-based content management system (CCMS), enabling 70 percent of patients to receive treatment in under 30 minutes, TV BRICS reported.

The move forms part of the country’s broader digital transformation in healthcare, led by Health Minister Dzulkefly Ahmad.

The minister reiterated the country’s commitment to advancing cross-border digital capacity building, ethical AI governance, and regional health data cooperation.

"Precision public health is no longer a future concept. It is already being implemented in Malaysia and will serve as a cornerstone for a resilient and competitive health system," said Dzulkefly.

According to the ministry, the upgrade is a milestone in the artificial intelligence (AI)-driven reform program currently being rolled out nationwide.

The officials stated that the first phase of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system has been successfully completed.

This initial phase has processed five million prescriptions, 20 million vaccination entries, and one million dental records.
