Lieutenant General Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, and Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, discussed ways of concluding a partnership between the Egyptian Ministry of Transport, the Suez Canal Authority and the Saudi National Maritime Transport Company (Bahri). This came on the sidelines of their meeting with a high-level delegation from the Saudi Bahri Company headed by Mr. Hisham. Al-Khalidi, representative of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, in the presence of Major General Ihab El-Bannan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Clarkson - Shipping Agency, at the headquarters of the Suez Canal Authority in the Al-Irshad Building in Ismailia Governorate. The meeting discussed ways of joint cooperation in various fields of maritime transport, most notably the discussion of a partnership contract bringing together one of the Egyptian Ministry of Transport companies working in the field of maritime transport (Cairo Ferry Company), the Suez Canal Authority, and the Saudi National Maritime Transport Company (Bahri).
